together is the first finished portrait in the MIGRAR series.

Seven flamingos travel alongside a golden moon, echoing the urgency a family feels when they know it is time to move.

Each portrait in MIGRAR functions as both artwork and a spell of protection for migrants. The background of this piece is formed with salt crystals, creating protective patterns, inspired by the scales of monarch butterflies and the collective power that once saved them from collapse.
